Delish.

I love easy dinners. Crock-pot soup, smoothies, and bread. And this homemade bread is faaaaabulous! Thank to my little sister Courtney (a.k.a albino twin) for the recipe. Try it, you'll love it!

Homemade Honey Wheat Bread

1/4 C. Warm Water

2 t. Sugar

1 T. Dry Yeast

Dissolve sugar in water and stir in yeast. Let stand 10 min.

2 1/2 C. Hot Water

2 1/2 C. Wheat Flour

Stir into yeast mixture.

1 T. Salt

1/3 C. Oil

1/3 C. Honey

Add into mixture and stir until combined.

3 1/2 C. White Flour

Add and mix for 10 min. in KitchenAid.

Let raise 1 hour.

Punch down.

Raise 30 min.

Punch and split dough into two loafs. Place in greased bread pans and raise for another 30 min.

Bake at 350 degrees for 45 min. Butter tops while warm.

*** Note: If you don't have a KitchenAid...or want an arm work out. You can knead by hand for 10 min. by rolling the dough into a ball, throw it on the counter, re-roll, and repeat 10 min. I prefer to mix EVERYTHING in the KitchenAid for ease and less dishes, but to each his own.

Enjoy!

Yummm I need to make some bread again soon. It's the best toasted and then dipped in Atwood's Ranch... or with homemade corn chowder or potato soup.
