Happy New Year!

It probably comes as no surprise that I NEVER make my New Year resolutions happen. After a month or two they get been pushed to the back of my mind and I forget/lose interest. Well ladies and gentlemen I am happy to announce that I earned a big FAIL for my 2013 goal and I couldn't be happier about it!

Announcing baby Edwards #4.
ETA: August 1, 2014
Which for my inevitably means after that date so i'm shooting for 8-6-2014 (8+6=14). All my kids have cool numerical sequences with their birthdays and I hope to keep up the trend for this (probably our last) baby.
As for this years goals I only have two:
1. Grow a healthy baby and stay as healthy as possible myself while doing so.
2. Spend more time loving on my kids and less time getting distracted with household chores/social media/friends.
Happy New Year!

Keep Me In Line.

I have this friend MacKenzie who is crafty and cute and rocks the hair cut of my dreams. She is doing a biggest loser competition for the next 10 weeks. I paid my $10, gave up soda (for the umpteenth time), and have been tracking everything I eat. My sweet hubby is ready for baby #4 and I am ok with that. But I want to get my butt back in shape before I carry another bowling ball around. My back can't take another one with out some stronger muscles. If anyone wants to be my work out buddy please let me know. Also, if you see me being tempted to drink soda you have free reign to b*$&% slap me in the face. My body is so much happier without Diet Coke sadly. Today is day two of the next ten weeks. Wish me luck!

A New Year.

Let me clear the air by saying that I think New Years resolutions are lame. Only for the fact that every time I make some and never follow through I feel like a failure and it stinks. So this year I told Aaron my only resolution was to NOT be pregnant for any part of 2013. Considering I was pregnant for part of 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, and 2012 and have 3 kids with in three and a half years of each other I am hoping that this one should be and easy one to accomplish ;)
But starting a new year always brings the familiar feeling of wanting to start again, be more organized, get fit and be happier. 2013 feels like a big year for me. We just moved for the 6th time in our marriage and I finally feel home. I feel like our family is almost complete and I can take this year to sit back and enjoy my kids being little. Yes it would be nice to have everything organized or to lose the last 5 lbs of baby weight or quit the Diet Coke addiction but this year I am going to focus on being happier. Letting go of stress, learning to say No and focusing all my energy on my husband and littles. And that already makes me happier.
Happy New Year!
