New Years Eve 2009

I can't believe it is 2010! Keeping with tradition we spent New Years Eve at Ron Shaw's house. He is such a fabulous cook, and we got spoiled with 3 different kinds of soup with all the fixings and sides one could imagine. He also made us "mo's" some delicious non-alcoholic drinks pictured above. The two kids in the pics are his darling grandkids, Sawyer and Sydney. We ate to our hearts content and played Beatles Rock Band and board games until the clock struck 12. Nora got tired around 8:30 and slept through the festivities, waking up just in time to go home to bed....so we thought...she stayed up the majority of the night. I guess she was sad she missed out on the party and wanted us to pay for it. On New Years day we went with the Edwards fam to breakfast, a tradition that has been going strong; passed down from Grandma Sue. A new tradition this year is for me to set a resolution...this year Aaron and I have a joint New Years resolution to lose 20 lbs. each. We're having a contest and the winner gets a prize. Many have wanted in on this contest...so who ever loses it first gets a fabulous prize from me. (And NO, having a baby doesn't count!) 2010 here we come!
