***If you don't want to hear me whine, do not continue reading. You have been warned.***
Patience is a virtue...
...Or a royal pain the you-know-what?!?
#1 laundry and #2 trying to make a family budget (a realistic one that we can stick to) are my 2 jobs on my to-do list today.
I haven't done either. #1 because I am purely lazy and #2 because I had high hopes that A. would hear good news from a company he interviewed with a few weeks ago.
He heard back.
It was bad news.
And I ask myself (as I sit and cry like the overly hormonal pregnant woman that I am) "Why am I surprised?"
It's only been 2 years of job searching after all. Surely I should be patient!?!
I swear if any one else tells me any of the following:
"It will happen when the time is right."
"Everyone is struggling financially right now."
"Maybe this is a test."
"Patience is a virtue."
I will explode.
Unless you/your spouse have been looking for a job for 2 years and are 8 weeks away from delivering your second baby and have hormones that would much properly be named "the roller coaster of doom" please don't tell me you know how I feel, because you don't and it's annoying to be lied to.
Back to the job hunt and the waiting.
And yes...
putting the frustration and pregnancy hormones aside I do fully know that when the time is right we will get the job we have been praying for...
until then...

I don't know how you feel but I feel for you...we are only going on our 8th month and still living with the in-laws. We even gave in and decided to just join the air force only to find out the waiting list is a year long!!! My mom cried for me and when she asked how I felt I just told her I didn't feel anything. Hang in there! Hopefully 2011 will bring both our husbands jobs!!!
