Operation Cry-It-Out: Night 1.

8:30 p.m - Bubba goes to bed in the playroom in the Pack and Play.
11:15 p.m - I lay down on the couch to sleep.
11:45 p.m - Bubba wakes up screaming.
12:00 a.m - Asleep again. I like an idiot was thinking how painless that was.
12:45 a.m to 2:15 a.m. - On again, off again crying.
2:15 a.m - Crying sounds strange. I go to check on Stella. She has rolled into the corner and smashed her face into the side of the Pack and Play unable to free herself. I have to pick her up to move her so she doesnt suffocate. She opens her eyes to meet mine and then the cryings turn to blood curdling screams. I want to cry myself.
2:20 a.m - I rock her for 2 or 3 min. just enough to calm her down and turn on the Sleep Sheep. Set her down fussing and attempt to leave. Then of course the Sleep Sheep ran out of batteries. Damn you Sleep Sheep!
2:30 a.m - I nurse my hyperventilating baby to sleep. Yay for her, yay for my engorged boobs.
2:35 a.m - Bubba goes back into the Pack and Play, I go back to the couch...and Tootsie wakes up crying. I want to put a fist through the wall, but hear baby O. next door screaming and it makes me feel a little less alone.
3:00 a.m - Bedtime for real this time.
6:48 a.m - Sweet Stella Sue wakes up cheerful. I wake up grumpy.

Stay tuned tomorrow for night 2...

Good thing babies are so cute! ....if we weren't so bleary-eyed that we could actually see their cuteness, on nights like these. Been there....with you!
